The VDE cover in accordance with DIN 43623, item no. 580, is a 720 mm long and 1 mm thick insulation cover with a suspension device for a fuse strip in accordance with DIN 43623. It has a plastic handle for operation and a rubber cover cloth in accordance with VDE 0680 Part 1. The cover hood is equipped with 6 press studs for an extension cloth and is suitable for working on live parts up to 1,000 volts. It is stamped with the relevant symbols of the standard and complies with VDE and GS requirements. The extension cloth with item no. 582 is also manufactured in accordance with VDE and GS requirements.
