The red flaring chisel is a high-quality “Made in Germany” tool that is specially designed for NKBA cables with a diameter of 25 mm. It has an angled edge with a length of 70 mm and a radius of 30 mm. The flaring chisel is made of impact-resistant plastic and complies with the latest EN 60900:2012 / IEC 60900:2012 standard, which means that it is suitable for working on live parts up to 1,000 volts. It is also tested and certified with a test voltage of 10,000 volts. The insulating plastic complies with the latest REACH regulations and has undergone PAH testing. The flaring chisel measures 140 mm and weighs 64 g. It is stamped with the symbol of the standard, the manufacturer’s information and the double triangle 1000V.
