The VDE GS 1000 V Reversible Ratchet is a multiple dip-insulated ratchet made of chrome vanadium steel with a patented push-button locking system
that prevents unintentional release of the socket inserts.
It can be used for both clockwise and counter-clockwise drive and is also suitable for left-handers.
The ratchet features a square drive according to DIN 3120/1174 with a ball lock.
It is equipped with a reversible 32-tooth ratchet head and a square drive for 1/2" or 3/8" socket inserts.
The maximum torque is 500 Nm (positive-locking system according to IEC 60900).
Tools with the double triangle symbol are tested and certified with a test voltage of 10,000 volts and are suitable for working on live parts up to 1,000 volts.
All safety tools are stamped with the corresponding symbols of the standard:
IEC 60900/EN 60900 or with VDE/GS as well as with article number, dimension, year of manufacture, manufacturer, 1000V and double triangle or VDE symbol.
The high-quality insulating plastic is compliant with the REACH regulation
and withstands the latest PAH test.
