Insulating Wedges 1000 V oval red

The spreading wedge 1000 V made of oval red plastic (item no. 725) is a high-quality tool “Made in Germany”, which is made of impact-resistant polyamide. It has an oval shape without sharp edges and a long design with a large striking head. The wedge is especially suitable for mounting cable branch clamps and prevents slipping when cutting cable cores. It is tested and certified in accordance with the latest EN 60900:2012 / IEC 60900:2012 standard and is therefore suitable for working on live parts up to 1,000 volts. The insulating plastic complies with the REACH regulation and has successfully passed a PAH test. The wedge measures 200 x 25 x 10 mm, weighs 55 g and is marked with the “1000V” symbol in accordance with the standard.
